Financial Disputes Between Brokers
When a real estate professional joins the Upstate Alliance of REALTORS®, they promise to abide by the duties of membership including strict adherence to the Code of Ethics. Among the Code’s duties is the obligation to arbitrate, established in Article 17. The Upstate Alliance of REALTORS® provides arbitration and mediation to resolve contractual issues and questions and specific non-contractual issues and questions that arise between members. Every REALTOR® Principal of the Association who participates in the Board’s MLS shall have the right to invoke the Board’s Professional Standards arbitration and/or mediation facilities in any dispute arising out of the real estate business with a REALTOR® principal in another real estate firm.
